Sanford Elks Drug Awareness Trailer Coming to Downtown StreetFest

Sanford Elks Lodge #1679 will be taking part in the 2026 Sanford StreetFest on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Downtown Sanford.

Our Lodge will have the Elks Drug Awareness Trailer set up during the festival as part of our ongoing commitment to helping educate children, families, and our community about the dangers of drug and substance abuse.

The Elks Drug Awareness Program is an important part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks' commitment to our communities. StreetFest gives us a great opportunity to share drug-awareness information and resources while also introducing local families to the many ways the Elks serve Sanford and Lee County.

Volunteers Needed!

We need Lodge members to help staff the Drug Awareness Trailer and represent Sanford Elks Lodge #1679 throughout the day.

Volunteers can help greet visitors, hand out Drug Awareness materials, talk with families, and share information about our Lodge and the work we do in the community.

If you can volunteer for all or part of the event, please email er@sanfordelks1679.org.
