Pool Maintenance Updates:

(03/10/2025)
Sand Blasting Completed: 

The sand blasting of the pool shell is now finished, giving us a clean slate to work with.
 

Old Supplies Sealed Off: 

We’ve sealed off the old plumbing supplies as part of our update, paving the way for the installation of new, improved systems.

 

Directional Drilling Scheduled: 

A directional drilling company is set to come out soon to bore for our new 6" Main Drain, ensuring everything is up to modern standards.

 

Pump Room Upgrade: 

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to pour the walls for the new pump room. This method is not only faster but also more structurally sound, which is great news for our project’s timeline.

 

While we still don’t have a specific opening date for the pool just yet, we remain optimistic about being ready for summer. As more action items are scheduled or underway, we’ll keep you updated on this page. These will begin to be more often the further we get with the project.

Our structural engineer has finished the first portion of their contract and are now working diligently on construction documents required for permitting. We have been approved to continue certain portions of required maintenance and will continue to move forward on these tasks in the meantime, weather permitting of course. We will update the membership on the progress as we get more information, positive or negative. There has been much to report as the engineers have been working behind the scenes on their due diligence side of the project. We are optimistic to have a functioning pool to open this Summer. At this time we can not place a date on opening as there are several moving parts but we will provide updates as we get them.

We are currently fine-tuning and adjusting the feasibility report and recommendations to ensure that our plans can be submitted for permitting. Given the extensive timeline of this project, it is crucial that we address the necessary repairs and updates now to prevent further issues next year when regulations may change for our pool. We are nearing the beginning stages of construction; however, it is essential that we do not rush this process to ensure a thorough and effective outcome. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

We are doing everything within our power to ensure the pool opens this summer. However, several aspects of this project are beyond our control (one being the weather). The engineering team has just provided us with their feasibility study this week, and the board is currently reviewing the plans. We will submit them to the county inspectors as quickly as possible. We will update this status as we know more.
