CLEATS FOR KIDS

Cleats for Kids is a grassroots community project started by Sanford Elks Lodge #1679 to help local children participate in youth sports by providing much-needed athletic footwear and equipment.

With funding provided through Elks National Foundation (ENF) Grants, our Lodge works to remove some of the financial barriers that can prevent young people from participating in sports. By helping provide cleats and other essential athletic gear, we give local kids the opportunity to get in the game, be part of a team, and experience the confidence, friendships, and life lessons that come through youth athletics.

What began as a local idea has become another way Sanford Elks puts “Elks Care — Elks Share” into action—identifying a need in our own community and working together to make a difference for local children and families.
