The Sanford Elks Lodge is proud to support Backpack Pals, a vital program that helps fight childhood hunger in our community by providing meals to students in need.
Recently, our Lodge held a food drive to benefit the program and continues to collect plastic grocery bags, which are used to pack lunches for children. In addition to the food collected, we were honored to present a $4,000 check to CUOC (Christians United Outreach Center) in support of Backpack Pals.
This donation was made possible through a grant from the Elks National Foundation, thanks to the generous contributions of our members.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this project a success. Your generosity continues to demonstrate the spirit of our Order: Elks Care – Elks Share.
